I look at my profile, tempted to type your name
Search you out and see where are you in this life
Holding my phone, I write a text “Hey, how are you?”
But I place it down and never send it through
And I now realize I must be lonelier in this moment than any moment ever before
To be missing you like this now
Right out of my sleep at 3AM
It has been a long road and even longer
The time that you’ve been gone
And in a way I know I am better off alone
But I do miss you and I miss all the love
Every cherished, blissful touch
How can anyone ever get used to these nights
When you feel as if no one is truly there
No one understands
And no one aware
Of this loveless world that wakes you out of sleep
