Say You Love Me

“Opening up your soul to someone, letting them into your spirit, thoughts, fears, future, hopes, dreams… That is being naked.” ~ Rob Bell”

Gutted

Why not let go and allow yourself to be vulnerable? Just be. Without regret, without being filtered. Even if you don’t get the response you want because that’s not the most important part. Say what you really feel, breathe deep and let everything out, because what’s the point if you can’t be who you truly are and say what you mean? Forget being comfortable, forget the consequences, forget the pain that may be on the other side of opening your heart to the world. I can’t be fake. I can’t be edited. I can’t be what others expect me to be, or say what I believe they want me to say. That’s not living. There’s no real relationships/love without vulnerability. I pray to find the courage to be vulnerable in all of my relationships, always.

We cultivate love when we allow our most vulnerable and powerful selves to be deeply seen and known – Brene Brown
