Say You Love Me

“Opening up your soul to someone, letting them into your spirit, thoughts, fears, future, hopes, dreams… That is being naked.” ~ Rob Bell”

It’s Always Too Soon

I hate hearing about death and being reminded of how fragile life is. It’s especially hard when it is so many young lives being taken. It’s saddening and it makes me wonder when will it be my time. What if it’s someone close to me? Any given day the course of our lives can change and without warning we can lose the people and things most important to us. What if you lose the very thing that keeps you holding on? But I know that instead of obsessing over the bad, it is important that in these moments we realize that our lives and the people in our lives are gifts that should be cherished. Tomorrow isn’t promised. And when we have to face a day that breaks our hearts, we should put our trust in God. We should remind ourselves to love everyone we come in contact with, as God has loved us. Unconditionally. And it is so important that we always make it a point to show love to those most dear to us. Even if we’re not the sensitive or emotional type. Even if we’re going through our own storms. Even if they never show us love. Always pray for yourself and others. Pray that our faith in God will keep us from being crushed by this world. Pray that our trials and lessons will bring us closer to Him so that we can show others the way.
